Our company,originally named Tai Nan Metal Industry Co. Ltd.,has
been committed
to manufacturing , processing, development of various types
of zinc alloy ingots,
products that can be applied to household appliance products,
ceiling fans, door
locks, drop hangers, doorknobs, hand tools,automobile/motorcycle
parts, ornaments
, electronic parts, bicycle parts, golf head and others that
belong to zinc alloy die-
casting industry.The initial capital was NT$18 million and has
been increased several
times over due to the need of business expansion. Currently,
the capital is NT$105.2
million.
The zinc alloy ingots produced by us go to the domestic market
mostly with an
annual yield of more than 60,000 tons. On account of excellent
quality, reasonable
prices and perfect service, we have earned a sound reputation
in the zinc alloy
industry.
In the past, though,because of cutthroat price competition from
the same trade, our
profitability dropped significantly so that our operations became
difficult. Fortunately,
given the appropriate handling of the operational strategy of
our management team
as well as the efforts and solidarity of all our colleagues,
a nonstop increase was
seen in product quality, production technology and production
capability efficiency
such that we could develop under stability to safely survivethe
tough challenge in the
great environment.
In response to the international trend, we demanded a rigorous
control in production
quality and a QC system in place in 1996.Our zinc alloy products
were even certified
by ISO-9002, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection
under MOE, ROC,
and DNV.In recent years,to tie in with the policy of industrial
automation domestically , we invested a hefty sumto upgrade
our processing equipment so that the integral
process has been standardized, equipment automated, products
diversified and
manpower simplified, in order to enhance product qualities and
to strengthen
competition advantages.
With the fast development of the global magnesium alloy industry,
the amount of
valuable waste produced by die-casting factories is considerable.
Through long-term
planning and estimation, we have got a grip of the advanced
metallurgy recycling
technology from abroad and added a magnesium alloy recycling
and re-processing production line to our Hai Hu (Sea Lake) Factory
to assist the industry in enhancing
product quality, reducing production costs, and resolving environmental
protection
and safety related problems.
Equipped with an in-depth technological foundation, persistent
R&D capability and
perfect service quality in association with a sound financial
practice as well as
excellent operating management, we will live up to the consistent
ideal of serving
our clients to stride forward in the directions of practical
management, low prices
and high quality with the industry.

Our management team has been holding to the management concept
of "highlighting
quality, reducing costs, good faith and pragmatism, marginal
profit from larger sales,
creating profits and sharing with clients" in hopes to
reach the goal of sustainable
development. From 1987 on to the present, we have been cautiously
and conscientiously pushing for our business plans each year
step by step to gradually
increase the width and depth of the market to the extent where
the brand of "Tai Nan"
becomes more and more popular. As a result, we have become the
champion in the
zinc alloy market in Taiwan vis-a-vis the competition from giants
such as CSALU of
CSC.
In the future, the management team will still be committed
to keep the advantage against the competition from the same
trade and to continuously enlarge our share
in the zinc alloy/magnesium alloy market. The objectives for

Product Process Development
In addition to the efforts of standardization and automation
in factory production processes, we also continuously require
a stable upgrade in product qualities and
keep an eye on the applications of the material of the latest
standards and specifications anytime to simultaneously carry
out the development and production
of products in order to meet the needs of die-casting factories
in reducing material purchasing costs and in pursuing change
and something new.
